Calculate the:

8.1 Net electric field at point X due to the two charges (6)

8.2 Electrostatic force that a – 2 x 10^-9 C charge will experience at point X (4)

The – 2 x 10^-9 C charge is replaced with a charge of – 4 x 10-9 C at point X.

8.3 Without any further calculation, determine the magnitude of the force that the – 4 x 10^-9 C charge will experience at point X. (1)
